Every time we asked Scott what he wanted for his party, he mentioned candy. We obliged and got a pinata. However, I filled it full of other things besides candy such as; bubbles, basketball pencil toppers, little tape dispensers and flower rings (for the one girl that attended the party).

Double layer white cake with chocolate frosting. I didn't use a football mold or anything - just free-handed it. From here it doesn't look too bad. The writing was done with a ziploc bag too. I thought it turned out pretty good with the stuff I had to work with!! I'd say watching my Mom was very helpful indeed.

Pin the tail on the donkey. Who is the closest?

Scott's birthday present from Grams and Dadoo! He immediately went and watched it and now he's been singing, "How do you know?" all over the house!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!

A pinata huh? Didn't we get one of those for Elliot's 26th B-day too?
Happy Birthday Scott! How funny that all he asked for was a candy birthday party! I think if you had shown "Enchanted" on a big screen and had lots of junk food...that would have been beyond perfect!!! You'll have to make that a family activity! :) Looks like his birthday turned out great! You did a wonderful job on the cake...very resourceful! I am impressed!
Great cake! Freehanded? Wow!
I love that he sings that song all over the house! Rock On Scott! Happy Birthday!
