Scott doesn't eat meat I don't know why but he doesn't. So tonight as we ate french toast casserole (yummy! Thanks Steph!!!) and bacon for dinner we were shocked when Scott decided to eat a piece of bacon. Now, the reason behind him wanting to eat bacon was precious. Brock loves food - any and all kind of food - and he asked how many pieces of bacon he could have. We told him 3. He ate his 3 and then asked for more. Knowing full well Scott won't eat meat, Elliot says, "You can have another piece of bacon after Scott eats a piece". Imagine what happened when Scott pipes up, "I'll eat a piece of bacon Brock." And he did just that! He ate a piece of bacon so his older brother could have more bacon. What a kid! And he liked it too!! He's asked me to send him 6 pieces of bacon on his first day of preschool, but we'll see if that sticks! :) A love for his older brother. What an amazing bond of love and friendship! May it continue throughout their lives!
