I don't know where May went - but it flew by!! The boys and I flew in May 1st, and we've sort of been running ever since. May 2nd was Anika's baptism. May 5th Dadoo (Dad) went in for an angiogram and stayed in the hospital until he had quadruple bypass May 9th. Dadoo came out of the hospital May 14th. I went in for a consultation May 15th and had back surgery May 19th. Elliot flew out May 19th and stayed with the boys until May 29th when he flew back to Maryland. Memorial Day we had a barbeque - the boys got to play with their cousins and I stayed in bed. May 28th I had my birthday and then May was gone. I thought that in June we might be able to establish a routine and be set on the road to recovery. Ha-ha! The Lord thought otherwise, so last night Brock was playing with his cousins and fractured his tibia in his right leg. And we start all over again. For the next 7 days, we are to keep an extremely active 4, almost 5-year old little boy from putting any weight on his right leg!! Thank heavens he's a boy - otherwise the bathroom process would be more extent than it is going to be. He's on Lortab and believe you me, we're going to be giving him medication every 4 hours!! He's such a trooper though. Next Thursday he'll be put into a cast that he can walk on and then we'll be on another 6-week recovery road. Wow!! Life is quite amazing! My Mom and Wendy who are with us all the time will be taking a lot since Dad and I can't lift anyone and basically can't do anything. I'm grateful for them. I only wish Elliot were here too - but he's out doing the work, so we can pay for medical bills. :)
