I came to visit my family May 1st for my niece Anika's baptism and was scheduled to leave May 11th. However, the Lord has a way of planning things in advance. It's amazing how His hand has been in our life. The Tuesday before I arrived, my Dad had a routine physical which ended up being anything but routine. Thursday the 30th he went in for a stress test, which alerted the doctors and they sent him the following Tuesday for an angiogram. Tuesday they did the angiogram and admitted him to the hospital due to blockage. So, Friday the 8th of May a quadruple bypass was performed and now the boys and I will be staying in Utah until further notice. What a whirlwind 10 days!! The recovery is going well. The support from family, friends, and ward members has been phenomenal and greatly appreciated!! The Lord's hand is in my life. I'm so grateful it is too. I would have hated to be 2,000 away at this time and the Lord saw fit to grant me the blessing of being here when this happened. I definitely have been blessed. Ps. 30: 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
