This is our fun Sunday 2 weeks ago. We went to the Harrasts' house - Marianna is the one in the black shirt and Tim is the one in the checkered shirt - for dinner and they invited the Merrills - Amy is in pink, Phil is the tall one behind her - as well. Both families have 5 children. So between the 3 of us there were 12 children under the age of 12, plus they'd invited another family with 2 children. Needless to say it was nice that they had a backyard and a basement for all the children to retreat to.
Ryan Merrill, Dean Harrast, and Brock are all 4-years old. They are 3 of the 4 Sunbeams in our ward. Together they have a ton of fun! And they aren't too far away. Brock is definitely the strongest of the 3. The 12-year olds loved romping around with Brock because he just gets back up and goes for more (think of the "tackling bunny" for those of you who know about that). Anyway, it was so nice to be with adults and having conversation about books, the Olympics, the area, and families. It was FANTASTIC!!

I'm so glad you are having such a great time out there. As we drove through the area I thought it was really beautiful. I'd never driven up there before. It seems very peaceful!

It is a nice area. I just went on a drive with the boys - to put them to sleep - and I enjoyed the rain, the beautiful trees, the peace and quiet. :) It was fantastic!!

LOL! Andrea, I will try to find a better picture of you. But I don't think there are many of me. :) I do have one of you and I and sister stoker that is ok. I have to go to my dad and pick up my mission albums. :)

adult conversation seems to be such a rarity as a parent :) Glad you were able to have some fun!
